Wade S. Askew
Director of Policy and Advocacy
Wade Askew has over 10 years of experience as a lawyer and lobbyist in the non-profit sector. As an attorney, Wade has represented clients in various legal and policy forums, including trial and appellate courts and legislative and administrative proceedings. As a lobbyist, he successfully led the Georgia Justice Project's policy agenda, shepherding multiple high-profile bills through the General Assembly. His work has touched criminal justice and reentry, affordable housing, disability advocacy, education, benefit and entitlement programs, and workforce development. Askew is a graduate of Northwestern University and the Georgetown University Law Center.
